Re: Lunch 11am January 29th Eudora,Ks

Thanks Roger and Hoser for covering the ride report for me this week, (and hopefully next). Sounds like everyone had a good time and the food looked great. Great pictures and post. In fact, it was so well done, I may retire!

Re: Slow Ride Cafe Lawrence,Ks 11:00am January,22

Eastern Kansas ROMEO's, 15 total, gathered at the Slow Ride this morning for lunch. It was a bit warmer today, but temperatures in the mid-twenties didn't encourage a lot of riders to break 'em out today. I believe there were 5, possibly 6 bikes in the lot, with the rest cagers today.[attachment=16...

Bucky has a great connection with the weatherman and in his post setting up this ride he said we should be excited about weather in the 50's, just perfect for a pie ride after lunch. Well, he's right about one thing, I was real excited about weather in the 50's as I rode by the bank this morning on...

Lyle,
Surely you could get them to insure my new Campagna if you submitted the app to cover my new Ultra Limited, my new Indian Chieftain (red, of course) and the Campagna as a package deal. Oh, excuse me, I just woke up!!

The 2014 edition of Eastern Kansas ROMEO was kicked off in style today with 24 RODEO's and 1 ROMEO!! The Sommerset Hall Cafe in Dover was the site of our first meeting of the year and the buffet special was homemade beef stew, rolls and salad bar. Pretty good idea for a cold day where the temperatu...

Yesterday was the perfect combination for guys who love to ride, an excuse to not have to shop for the holiday, and weather in the 50's and 60's brought out a big crowd to the Pepper Patch in beautiful downtown Carbondale. There were about 50 ROMEO 's and four or five ROD rivers EO 's that literall...

:o It was a bright, shiny day for a ROMEO ride, but with temps in the high teens/low 20's most of the 18 attendees were in the R etired O ld D rivers E ating O ut club! In fact, Bucky was taking orders for RODEO shirts when in walks Roger and Hoser wearing their winter riding gear. (I guess Roger di...

Re: Lunch 11:00am Nov. 20th Overbrook, Ks

Things looked a little bleak this morning at 6:30 with light rain, south winds, and temps in the hi 30's/lo 40's and it looked like Larry #2 might be dining alone. But the ROMEO gods shined on him because by 9:30 the pavement was drying, winds were moderate and temps had risen to 45 or so, and that...

Actually it turned out to be a pretty nice day in Eudora America if you consider 35 degrees, blustery winds from the south, and bright, clear skies to be a nice day :) . Turned out that 20 ROMEO's thought is was a good day to get out and 7 even came on motorcycles. Not too many pictures today but t...

Re: Lunch 11am Oct. 30th Lawrence, Ks

OK, here's the deal: Bucky was right, the weather didn't really lend itself to riding for most so there were only 3 bikes in the parking lot, and 12 Romeo's in attendance. But there was only one Romeo that followed instructions to bring photos and tell lies and that was Bucky. The food was great an...

30 bikes and 31 ROMEO's made the trek to Americus today to enjoy a great lunch and crisp fall weather. It's finally time to realize that summer's over and in fact today a lot of riders were wearing clothes with cords sticking out of them! Temps were in the high 40's early this morning but warmed in...

It was a beautiful day for a ride last Friday so I decided to join 9 other ROMEO's for lunch in Erie at the Sidewalk Cafe. I'm trying out a new photo site and I snapped a few pics of the ride so thought I'd practice and share them here. DSCN2863....
