What a great idea, wish I could be there with you. Marty was a good friend and a reliable source of information on anything motorcycle. RIP my friend.

Marty & "old" ROMEOS, Thanks for the shout out. I was in Mac for a funeral and only had a couple of days, sorry I missed some of the old-timers. Catch you next time around.

Ahhh....how soon they forget. Although not active with the North Central Kansas ROMEOs I was there at the same table and stood up to be counted. Wish more of the Salina crew at been there, I miss y'all and you missed some fine weather and riding

There is a familiar name on a letter to the editor in the new September issue of "Motorcycle Consumer News". Richard Kurtz giving the ROMEOs a little national exposure. Good job Richard.

Salina ROMEOs, Just got a call from Pat Doherty's wife Emma, to let me know that Pat passed away this morning around 9:30am. She said that he had experienced difficulty breathing during the night and was taken to the hospital. Pat suffered from pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer. Watch the Journal f...

I ponder on this situation often.....Is it better to be in church thinking about riding or to be riding and thinking about God and the wonders he has created?

Recently received word from Jon's sister that he is now back home in Ottawa, doing very well! His family thanks for the prayers and visits to Jon.

Thanks for the kind words Richard and Marty, it was great to see everyone on Thursday. Sure miss riding with you guys. Georgia has lots of great riding but nothing compares to lunch with the ROMEOs. Sue says thanks too.

Jon was released from CCU today into a step down room after his surgery on the 25th for an abdominal aortic aneurysm. He's beginning to recover from the surgery. The family thanks you all for your prayers and for continuing to lift him up.

John has improved to the point that he has moved to Hoeger House in Olathe for rehab.

Jon's second heart cath yesterday went well and doctors were able to get through the blockage and restore blood flow to the front of the heart. Now he will have to rest and recover before they tackle the repair of the abdominal aortic aneurysm. No word yet on when/if he will be released from hospita...

Heart cath results were not good, showing significant blockage. Doctors are weighing options.

He is having a heart Cath today.
