ROMEOS

Hi guys; I have not been on many rides of late because of some bug I got a couple of months ago that the doctors have not been able to figure out yet. I have had every test know to man all negative. Getting much better though on my own. I am full of holes and short of blood where they keep stealing ...

Richard, you should have more than one USB port. Look around a bit. On most computers they are side by side. Sorry I missed the ride but the huge water puddle in my lane kept me off the streets. It is actually one big mud hole. Sounds like I missed a good meal though. Hope this helps.

Hey guys; I just found out Reggie Irwin had a stroke Sunday, and is in the hospital in Wichita. Last I heard he could not stand and was having trouble chewing and his eyes would not focus. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Jim Kraft

I stopped at the Motorcycle Museum at Marquette after asking Richard if it was still open. Wow, some really great old bikes in there and some I have owned. They even had a Hiawatha Doodle Bug of which I had two of when I was 10 years old and sold by the Gambles stores. They also had several old Flat...

Thanks RIchard. I will try to be there at 12:29. Lets see, if I eat breakfast at .........

What time is lunch? I am not sure how late to eat breakfast. LOL

Last I read on the Harley wobble was that the spokes were loose. This was on brand new bikes. So if you have a wobble you might want to check those spokes for tightness.

Nothing like an old carbed EVO with drag pipes for the Harley sound. Unless of course you have a Pan or a Shovel. They all sound good to me. When I was in high school I had a 42 "45" Flat Head. It wern't no speed demon, but it was a lot of fun. Those old buddy seats were great for taking g...

Whispering in Richards ear----Harley-Harley-Harley

Thanks Gary. That works a lot better now. I hope to make this one.

Well; I am a little confused. If you click on the ROMEO RIDES this week, it says Woodbine alright, but the map takes you to Herrington. Is 10:00 AM still good? I might try to make this one as it will be my first one since my open heart surgery. Heat still bothers me quite a bit, but Woodbine is not ...

Wow Leonard; In the words of Dudley on WIld Hogs, "Man! That is one sweet ride". LOL

Hi all you ROMEO's; Just an update on my surgery. I had two bypass's, and the aortic valve replaced with a doner valve on tuesday. The doctors and the nurses said I was doing very well, and I was released from the hospital on Easter sunday. The Lord has been extremely good to me through this whole t...

Hello all you Romeo's. I am going in for open heart surgery in the morning, so I probably won't be making many rides for a while. I will be getting a valve job plus a couple of plugged up lines bypassed. Me, not the Harley. I have been here in the hospital since I passed out at the flying field satu...

Looks good Roger. Thanks for the update. Jim

I have not been there before, but it looks like the Google map got it messed up a little, as it shows Skoops to be in the middle of the south bound lane of I-135. Maybe it's on Old 81 hiway.

Nice pictures Hoser; Thanks for posting. Looks like good times.

Thanks for the story on how it all got started. I just found out about the Romeos last year, so I really did not know how it began. I love the concept of no organization as such. What a great idea. It is a lot of fun to meet up with others with different bikes. Of course, the eating part ain't bad e...

I thought you guys might like to see a few pictures from a motorcycle club called the Black Hawks MC, from back in the early 60's. I was between bikes when these pictures were taken, but I rode many of these guys bikes. A lot of Triumphs, and a few Sportsters, both XLH, and XLCH. Notice the non prot...

Remember when the spark advance was on the left handle grip. Thats way back when pop and a single dip cone were both a nickle.
