Crashing your party!

Post by Shannon »

Hey All!

You guys know how to have a good time! I've had fun with everyone I have met on the two rides this week! Thanks for the warm welcome even though I don't fit your demographic well. Ok, at all. I look forward to riding with you as my schedule permits. For those of you who haven't met me and the Italian super model I hang out with, I'm including a picture.

Peace out,
Shannon

Shannon:

You are a welcome addition to our group and I hope feel comfortable with us. The enjoyment of a good ride, friends and food are an ageless thing. I am sure you will learn that the stories are the same with our "demographic" we just have a lot more of them. Ride safe and often, see you down the road.

There is a better pic embedded in Roger's Picasa photo album in the Kansas City Weekly Ride forum. I have attached the pic here so everyone can see her showing off with her Italian supermodel, whose name is "Ducati Monster."

Thank you, Gentlemen, for these comments. Actually, my bike does have a name: Dante!

Welcome, Shannon. I'm glad you've been enjoying the rides, great people, very good food, interesting roads to explore, and fun little towns to visit.

All of those, yes!, and I have already learned some new back roads. Bonus!

Shannon,
Welcome to the group! I hope you can make some rides, because this group can really pile up the miles. We will soon be going to Podunk and East Bejesus as soon as we find them. It is a great resource for information about roads and general biking info.

Danny,

I have always wanted to visit Podunk, East Bejesus, and other hidden getaways of the Midwest! But of course, what I know about the ROMEOs is that the destination is only part of the fun. The journey and the company are what really make it all come together. Ok, well, that and BBQ. ;)

Has anyone seen our redheaded Irish and her Sexy Bike? Late summer was the last know sighting.

I think that I read a footnote on one of the pages (subpart C item 154f) about an alternate title for the group:

Riders Of Motorcycles Enjoying Outings.

Or was it;

Ride Only Motorcycles Every October? ;)

One of those.

Can't make out the year but it seems to have been entered April first. (?)
