Option A this week is a new restaurant, El Potro Mexican Cafe in Louisburg, KS. It just opened on February 8. It is part of a chain the ROMEOs have visited in Paola, Lawrence, and Bonner Springs. The chain also has locations in Lee’s Summit and Liberty. The restaurants we used to visit in Louisburg have either closed or are closed on Tuesdays. I am happy to see one here that is on our schedule. I told Angel, the manager, that we will be there when he opens the door at 11:00. El Potro is located just east of the high school east of town on highway 68. Hope to see you there.

Option B this week is Wabash BBQ in Excelsior Springs, we have not been there since January of 2019. Forecast is kind of iffy so come in whatever you're comfortable with. Great BBQ I've been there several times on weekend rides. The place is small so be there when they open at 11:00, it's located near the Elm's Hotel in the old Wabash RR Depot. See you there and stay safe!

Today we had a wonderful time at the Wabash BBQ in Excelsior Springs, MO. 20 ROMEO's had lunch and a nice visit. The service was good and the food was great. In spite of the cool and cloudy March weather there were 11 riders in the group.

By my count we had 25 ROMEOS and 19 bikes at El Potro in Louisburg for lunch on a chilly morning. My count is pretty close but I may have missed someone. The food was great as was the service. We pretty well filled up the dining room and most of us sat at tables for 2 or 4 but it looked like everyone was having a good time. It was great to see Pam back and on her new Spyder. A couple of our ROMEOs are having surgeries in the next week. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
