Our pick for next week is Fields & Ivy. It is a farm-to-table kind of brewery located at 706 E 23rd Street in Lawrence, Kansas. For those of you who would be interested, it features a 5,000 square-foot production brewery. The restaurant serves pizza, sandwiches, burgers, and garden-fresh salads, along with your favorite drink. On a beautiful Kansas day, it’s hard to beat the outdoor veranda.

It looks like it’s going to cool down a “smidgin” from the warmer days we’ve been having. We have been spoiled for February weather this year. All-in-all the mid 40’s is nothing to turn our nose up at, certainly not this winter season! “Happy Trails” and hope to see you all there next week!

It was a robust, chilly day but overall sunshine & roses, well maybe I’ve overstated that a bit. Let me rephrase that opening statement, all CHILLY & SUNSHINE for sure! There were a baker’s 2 dozen present and one motorcycle. Mr. Michael Herman from Shawnee wins our one and only grand prize, winning the bravest rider award. Congratulations Mike, you’ve earned it!
