Safety Recall for 2020-2024 for Honda Gold Wing

I'm looking at a Service Bulletin from American Honda Motor Co. that details a safety recall for 2020-2024 GL1800/B/BD/D/DA Gold Wing models for a Fuel Pump replacement. This service bulletin is new and probably not widely known. I had to call my local Honda dealer's service department to get confirmation. Apparently, there is a manufacturing defect with the impeller inside the fuel pump that can warp or swell the impeller blades and cause the impeller mechanism to lock and prevent fuel flow to the engine.

Another interesting thing to note is that the service bulletin issues a STOP SALE of certain new or used 2020-2024 models until they have been repaired.

American Honda intends to mail customer letters to all owners of the affected models in April 2024.
