JANUARY 24TH, LUNCH ONLY, 10:30 AM, JASMIN’s RESTAURANT - MEXICAN & CHINESE, EUDORA, KS‬

Post by Al Hayes »

At our last ride to Perry Bar & Grill there were some of you who shared suggestions as to some new places we could ride for lunch during the winter season. Jasmin’s Restaurant in Eudora was one of them and was well recommended by some of you who have eaten there.

And so, I thought how interesting Jasmin’s would be for our next week’s ride. As you may have already noticed reading our post topic & title, how eye catching and interesting this place might be! So, I say, let’s give it a “GO!”

Looking ahead weather wise, it looks like it may be a bit murky & soggy but at least not freezing. The good news is the long-range forecast says it’s going to be in the 40’s for next Wednesday’s ride. If that’s the case, we may still have to resign ourselves to choose to ride again in the “Cage.” So, all that being said, “Happy Trails” to you and hope to see you all there!

Another soggy day but not freezing! Our visit to Jasmin’s today turned out just as I supposed. It was a quite delightful time and a very interesting experience. If I may use the age olé expression, it was like “killing two birds with one stone.” Comparatively speaking, it was like choosing to eat at two different restaurants . . . one could choose Mexican cuisine or Chinese cuisine in one place!

All-in-all, everyone seemed quite pleased with the place. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I’m assuming now, but I think the restaurant must have been named after our server who waited on us and is the daughter of the family that owns Jasmin’s Restaurant. If you haven’t eaten there you would find it a real novelty and I highly recommend it!
