This next Wednesday’s pick has some very interesting characteristics, and as far as I can recall we’ve only been there once. Here’s a bird’s eye view of what you will find when getting to “Burgers by Biggs”. They grind their own burger daily, with fresh brisket and choice cuts of ribeye to make a fantastic burger. Burgers are the focal point here, but they have ground chicken burgers as well, with all white meat and zucchini for a healthy option. They hand cut their fries daily and make shakes the old-fashioned way.

The weather forecast looks like it will be about the same as last week, partly sunny and mild in the 50’s for a high. Let’s all do this again, using our two, three, or 4 wheels, and come along to join us for lunch and meeting with some fun-loving individuals! “Happy Trails” to you all and look forward to seeing you soon!

What a crowd we had for a brisk sunny day in Lawrence. Over 20 of us gathered together to exchange and update all the changes that have occurred over the past weeks. Romeos is the perfect way for staying active and alive. There is always something interesting when we meet together and share our stories with each other.

There were no complaints about “Burgers by Biggs.” Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the service was even better. They got us right in and right out with no questions asked. I don’t know how many tried their ice cream, but “Oh-Boy,” was it ever “Yummy- Good!” Two scoops, Butter Nut & Chocolate Cip Mint, to keep with my diet and lose one pound a week. Really? Yup, it works for me!
