Option A this week will be Casa Amigos. Hope everyone had a great Holiday weekend. With BBQ last week and turkey and ham for Thanksgiving I thought we needed a real change. So Mexican it is. This is my last week as John will be back (at least I certainly hope so). I think Casa Amigos is a new place so hope it is good. There is limited parking in front of the restaurant but a bigger lot in the back. They do not open until 11:00am so hope to see you then.

Option B this week will be Ten Penny Restaurant and Bar in Leavenworth, KS. Last time we were there it was almost too hot to ride, this time it's almost to cold to ride! Great place, good food and service in a great historical area, Leavenworth was the first city Incorporated (1854) in the territory of Kansas, seven years before Kansas achieved statehood on Jan 29, 1861.
Ten Penny doors open at 11:00, public parking lot across the street, the tenderloins and cherry cheese cake are my favorites.

Thank you Dan G. for all your help as John abandoned us to have fun with his wife on a cruise ship! You are very much appreciated!

We had 22 at Ten Penny today, food and service were very good, we had one motorcycle rider, George F. and one bicycle rider, Bob S. Bob rode 16 miles to Ten Penny, did anyone else notice it was cold?
After Romeos, Wanda and I roamed around Leavenworth and found some interesting things and bits of history.

We had 16 at Casa Amigos this morning. I was greeted by cheers as I came in the door. It felt really good to be back and see everyone. I want to say a special thanks to Dan for an outstanding job while I was gone. He picked today's restaurant (with Ed's help) and both the food and service were outstanding, plus they kept bringing chips. We really felt at home. It was a little chilly but there were 3 bikes. After being off the bike for a month, it was special to hop on the Wing. Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Looks like it was fun. I just got back from Florida today. Got a new rear tire and the front one ordered. Should join you guys next week!
