Option A this week is K&M BBQ. I thought with Thanksgiving coming and most everyone eating turkey and ham we should start the holiday with some BBQ. We were at K&M BBQ in May and if I remember correctly, it was pretty good. The weather does not look very good for next week. K&M open at 11:00am so I think that is a good time. They do have another group coming in around 12:00pm. Hope to see you all and if not hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

Option B this week will be Daddy's 10-13 Diner in Richmond, MO. We were there in September, with iffy weather and Thanksgiving coming, we told them 10:00 was a good time, but, come earlier for breakfast, served all day, or later for lunch, served beginning at 11:00, if that works better for your schedule.

If you need apples or produce for your Thanksgiving feast, the only orchard still open is Meierer Fruit Market, 19046 Dwarf Lake Rd Lexington, Mo 660-259-2548.

We had 13 at Daddy's 10-13 today, only had one rider, Bud W. from Liberty. Food is always good and we found out that sometimes we make more of an impact on our Tuesday rides than we know. Wanda was talking to our waitress, Tokie, before we left, she said the owner, Natalie, was considering closing the Diner on Tuesdays, but Tokie talked her out of it because she knew we wouldn't be back. Our friendliness, enthusiasm, sometimes silly conversations and great tips are not something she wants to lose. It is nice that businesses not only appreciate us for helping them economically, but also for just being ourselves! Talking loud and roaming around from table to table like a herd of cats is just a bonus.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. K&M BBQ did a great job for us today. We had 17 Romeos today in a day with less than perfect weather. 5 Romeos laughed at the weather and rode. Thanks to all that came out today.
