Option A this week is a return to Smoked Creations in Ottawa, KS. They open at 11:00 but sometimes open the doors a little early for the ROMEOs. Looks like a perfect day for BBQ lunch with a high of about 70. I hope to see you there.

Option B this week is Dearborn Cafe in Dearborn, MO, we were last there April 11, 2023. One of our long term favorites, with some of our best riding roads in the area. Breakfast is served till 10:30, so I think 9:30 will be a good time to meet. Looks dry, see you there.

South Central Kansas Fish Fry Wednesday, October 11
The South Central Kansas group invites ROMEOs from all our other area groups to one of their annual traditions: Junior's Fish Fry. This year the fish fry will again be held at the Twisted Oz Motorcycle Museum in Augusta; good eats and a chance to see an impressive collection of motorcycles.

We had 16 at Dearborn Cafe this morning, a little chilly but most were riding. Joe P. from Lamar rode up, he left home at 6:30am, riding 160 miles one way! Breakfast was very good, service is always great. By the way, pumpkin pie goes well with bacon and eggs, better than I had suspected, just saying!

We had 32 at Smoked Creations. Food was great and the service was outstanding and fast. It was a gorgeous day, apparently a little chilly if you started out at 6:30am like Joe but for the rest of us it was perfect. I heard several comments that we should come here more often--we'll try!
