Ok time to mix it up a little bit for next Wednesday. We’ve not had “Mexican Cuisine” in a while. As of now the weatherman is forecasting three days of precipitation starting with the very day we ride. I’ll parrot the words of Mike Herman, for we all know that the “weatherman is never wrong!” Nevertheless, I’ll be there with bells on my toes come rain or shine. If you’re anything like me and thinking of last week’s ride, this place will be close enough to home so that you’ll have enough time to catch a nice warm afternoon nap. For those of you I told last week that Bradley’s Corner Cafe in Topeka would be our next ride, that was before knowing that Bradley’s is closed but will be reopening shortly under new management. That being said, I’ve booked
El Potro Cafe in Lawrence.

Ok, so El Potro’s is not new to us, but just as a reminder … this El Potro Cafe is in Lawrence, Ks., NOT Paola, Ks. I don’t want anyone to be confused and to miss out on our fun and entertainment together. This is one place we all enjoy meeting together and eating some good Mexican cooking. It opens at 11:00 am for lunch. You can order a full meal deal, combo's, (or) la carte singles to your own liking. “Happy Trails” to you all, be safe, stay dry and hope to see you there!

CAVET: Next Tuesday, September 19th, Wild Bill's, Rulo, Nebraska will be a combined ride for all Romeos. Come one come all!

We couldn’t have ordered a more perfect day and time for our weekly Romeo Ride to gather together. I trust everybody had a good time visiting and that your lunch was as delicious as mine.

There was just a little bump in the road before leaving, as one of us did not receive some of their change back after paying the bill. All was well, for the restaurant made sure the error was corrected, and everyone went home happy. The waiter and waitresses did very well with our huge turnout. So, on that happy note, it’s show time. Enjoy the photos!!

To Al Hayes,
The dinner bill & $10.00 ( 5 ones & 5 dollar bills) was left on the table to my right where Larry was sitting. I asked around inside & outside cafe, had no takers. Since dinner check (bill) showed a balance of $9.92 was due & Larry had already left his chair I went back inside & presented to Male mgr. He rang up as pymt of check. Sorry for causing confusion...I will end by wishing Safe riding.
