It’s been a while since we’ve been here and time for some good old smoked BBQ. As of now, the weather looks like there will be a lesser chance of precipitation in the forecast, compared to what I have seen earlier this week. But we all know the routine if there should be any ugly weather to contend with. We have several choices, 2 wheels, 4 wheels, or stay at home. If it’s raining I’m opting for 4 wheels. There is no breakfast, just an all-time favorite BBQ place that most of us like! The doors will be open at 10:30 am, especially for us.

Once you get there go in to be seated and tell them you are with ROMEO Riders, and they can start taking orders as soon as we arrive. You may want to ask for their really tasty BBQ special, with your choice of sides. There is a menu with a lot of other choices should you be in the mood for something other than one honking BBQ sandwich. For you burger lovers they make one whale of a burger here. You can't go wrong at Smoked Creations BBQ. So, until then, "Happy Trails" to you all and hope to see you there!

Fall is underway, starting with temperatures of 60º this morning and rounding out the day with a high of 84º. Today put us all in the mood for the beginning of our fall season rides. Everyone came out of the woodwork, coming from far and wide to enjoy the day’s fabulous weather. The atmosphere was a robust feeling of party time and being ready to express a “foot loose and fancy-free spirit!” It was one of those days to remember.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but one thing I’ve noticed about the Romeo rides that draw us all together week after week, is that we enjoy making long-lasting, heartfelt memories. We love to gather together not only for an excuse to ride our bikes or enjoy eating good food at friendly “mom & pop” cafes … that alone would be reason enough for our gathering. But to top all that off, each and every one can leave with a consoling spirit, knowing that we have been among supportive friends making it feel like a tight-knit family.
