North Central Kansas Weekly Ride 8/30/23

With the temperatures in orbit I've been racking my brain trying to find somewhere to go for a breakfast ride. But looking at the forecast I see we're in for a cold snap. It looks like Wednesday is going to top out in the mid 90s. With that in mind I got us set up with a place that isn't too far away and a little earlier. We haven't been here for almost a year so I figure that won't crimp our style too much.

I've been learning Voo Doo lately. I've been working on a Harley Tri Glide with electrical ghosts. I was able to exorcise one and I think I have the other one on the run. We'll see how that shakes out today. I've been gathering up all my best talismans, rattles, beads, and shrunken heads. I've been practicing all my best incantations and I'm ready to give it a go. We had a good crowd for the world peace summit this morning. Even Dave Herman came after his knee replacement surgery. He wasn't planning on running any marathons. At least not for another week or so, but he seems to be well on the mend. It looks like tomorrow is shaping up to be a great day, so after thoroughly studying the forecast and consulting my super computer I figure that if we kick the tires and light the fires at 8:45 from the Iron Skillet it should get us there in plenty of time.
