We were in Rock a few months ago for lunch, but I don't believe we've been there for breakfast since they changed hands quite some time ago. Rudy had breakfast there a week or two back, and recommended it heartily. The place is also Harley Charlie approved: I'm sure his praise for the burgers will hold for the breakfast menu, as well.
The breakfast menu includes the standard offerings, prices look reasonable, and if Rudy's photo is any indication no one will go home hungry.
Right now, it looks like we'll have the best weather in quite a while: sunny with a high of eighty-eight.
This will be our last breakfast ride of the year, as we start lunch rides again the following week on September 6. If you have a favorite place you'd like to visit, follow Rudy's lead and let me know.

Re: South Central Breakfast Ride: Wednesday, August 30
Regarding todays meal at the Route 77 Rock Café - Patience! Patience was rewarded with a wonderful meal. The waitress lady stayed busy and the cook was flipping pancakes as quick as a wicked fast Honda rider. And in the end we all enjoyed a plentiful and tasty meal.
We had a nice group of 23 ROMEO's arrive at the Rock Café on 22 motorcycles. Total ride mileage was 837 miles. Kathryn was high mileage rider from her home in Hutchinson at 89 one way miles! We had a few (4) wimpy riders, including me with under 25 wimpy miles. My really really wimpy was 16 miles. If next week suggested location works out, Moundridge Ron may be the wimpy rider and Kathryn will be low roller too!
Roger will post that ride when he settles on it. It will be an 11AM lunch meal. Snapshots below, you will see yourself.
