Sunday August 20th, a few of us Romeos took a little trip to Anamosa, IA., to visit the NATIONAL MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM before it’s closing and being auctioned off to forever be no more. At first we had planned to ride our bikes up there until one member of our group was unable to ride his bike for various reasons. So, we deferred to “Plan B” and … do I dare say it, we went up in the car instead of taking our bikes. How grateful all of us were later when realizing the heat index would have eaten us alive if we had chosen to take our bikes. What could have been a grueling undertaking, ended up being a very pleasant and enjoyable trip.
