Option A this week is Pegah's in Shawnee. This is the Pegah's on K-7 (located on the northeast corner of K-7 and Johnson Drive in Shawnee at the north end of the strip mall.) We were last here a year ago and the food and service were excellent. It's supposed to be hot Tuesday so let's show up about 9:00. Last year was my first day as South KC Ride Coordinator. With everyone's help, encouragement, and tolerance, I made it through the first year! Thanks to all of you, this is an amazing organization.

Option B this week is The Big Biscuit in KC. We met there Jan and Feb 2022 as a winter gathering place. They serve breakfast and lunch all day, I think 8:30 is a good time, another heat alert day, so 2,3or 4 wheels, let's go get a biscuit.

We had 20 at Pegah's today. It was a nice day if you didn't mind a little drizzle now and then, and some heavier rain south and east of town. We were spread out a little in the restaurant but that didn't keep us from moving around and visiting. It was a nice cool day for August and as we left we visited with Mike and Don for quite a while on the curb in front of the restaurant.
