We rode to “Green Acres Restaurant” this week so Osage City could host us next Wednesday on the 12th. It's been a while since we have been to Marilynn’s Cafe. As usual they serve breakfast until 10:45 am and start lunch at 11:00 am. Marilynn's is a small Mom & Pop cafe and has always been one of our many favorites. It is a very warm and welcoming place to eat, enjoy the food, and spending time together.
The weather looks a little iffy (90º & 40% precip) right now but, then again, it’s too far ahead to know if any rain will materialize. Keep in mind, for those of you who come in a 4-wheel cage rain won’t be an issue. We Romeos like Marilynn's, and I hope you all have a safe & good ride. So again, “Happy Trails” to everyone and hope to see you there!!

Re: JULY 12th, 10:00 AM, BREAKFAST or LUNCH, MARILYNN’S CAFE, OSAGE CITY, KS
All in all, the day turned out to be a little cooler than expected, emphasis being on (Coooo…ler)! Most of us dodged the various thunder clouds for the day and stayed dry. It stayed in the 80’s for most of the afternoon and it wasn’t until late afternoon it turned into the 90’s.
We had a good turnout for the day. Again, there were 3 waves of riders, Early Birds, Mid-morning, and the notorious Lunch bunch. There were over 20 bikes and 20-30 riders including the 4 wheeler’s who came in their cage. Marilynn’s has always been a real favorite of ours, and all of the staff and waitresses were fabulous. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Now, here’s what unfolded … Show & Tell:
Here is our Early Bird's mascot, Susie!!
Welcome to the Romeos, Mark & his friend Dennis
Another one of our mascots arriving for lunch, Dakota!
