North Central Kansas Weekly Ride 4/19/23

Today is a dismal day. Nasty and rainy. I don't know how much productive work I'll get done. But at least I got us set up for Wednesday. I hope the weather gets it out of its system by then. The forecast is for low 80s and 40% chance of rain. 40% doesn't scare me much. When I was flying I'd check the weather before every flight and I don't think the forecast EVER was less than 40%. We haven't been to this place for a little over 2 years and it doesn't seem too awful far for a nice day.

I've been elbows deep in converting my second lift to hydraulics. I think I have everything gathered up and all that's left is the cutting, fitting, welding, and wiring. It looks like a go for Florence. It might be a little breezy and if my luck holds out maybe a thunderstorm or two. I figure that if we launch from the Rodeway Inn @ 10:30 it should put us on site just about on time.
