Kirkwood & Co. started as an idea by folks that sought to do something that their community wanted and desperately needed, a place to gather with friends and family to enjoy their company, along with good food and drink. This restaurant for Highland is located in the heart of downtown and hosts the surrounding communities! This is small-town Kansas, always ready to give a warm welcome to anyone who stops by. It is a source of pride and pleasure to support all their customers with hope, good food, drink and service!
The weather looks to be in the 70’s and no precipitation. By all indications , spring is here to stay. So, it’s time to saddle up for some enjoyable riding! “Happy Trails” to everyone and hope to see you there.

Re: APRIL 19TH, LUNCH ONLY, 11:00 AM, KIRCKWOOD & CO., HIGHLAND, KS
It was another grand day to meet with the Romeo Riders in Highland, Ks. At the start of the day, it looked as though it could get a bit ugly with a chance of some precipitation. But as the day unfolded the threat of rain didn’t ever appear. At least I haven’t heard of anyone getting soaked yet, so I’m assuming those of you who came on two wheels made it home dry.
My lovely wife and long-time companion, Sharon, came with me today, so I opted to drive the car to Highland. I choose not to risk getting my lovely bride soaking wet. I know, I know, what you may be saying …“that was mighty thoughtful of me to do.” I thought it was!! After our Romeo lunch, Sharon and I meet with a couple who are friends of ours and have recently moved to Highland to take up employment at the Community College. Before leaving we were given a “Grand Tour” of the college. Did you know that Highland Community College is the oldest college in Kansas? I wasn’t aware of this until today.
Ok, enough of my boring you with a lot of trivia. Let’s get on with the photos of the day:
