Some of us have been wondering when the last time we’ve been to Downtown Easton Cafe. It was the fall of 2021. This is a small place but can support our group and riders adequately.

Just a word of caution as a reminder: It’s downtown "Easton Cafe" not “Hill Top Cafe” on Hwy 192, Just saying! Breakfast is served until 10:30am and lunch begins at 11am. The weather forecast so far is said to be in the range of (30*-40*) still pretty mild for February.

By the way, before I sign off, Brad (our T-Shirt coordinator) has shared with me that we can now order T-Shirts on-line with our Romeo logo! This is also open and available to all Romeo groups, Romeo coordinators and riders. Go to our Eastern Kansas forum and click on the title “ROMEO T-SHIRTS AVAILABLE ON-LINE”. Thanks to Brad Schoan and his hard work, you will be able to find all the information you will need to make orders online. Keep in mind this is still in a PILOTING and TESTING stage as we start to utilize this company, THREADS, in Manhattan, Ks. Brad welcomes any feedback from those who chose to use this on-line service. As most of you know, often times when using things right out of the box there are a few kinks that come with it. So, let’s all be helpful to Brad when kinks arise. I know he will work tirelessly while working through the kinks with us.

We will still be making group orders from time to time so as to avoid a shipping cost to our Romeo groups. Brad will be periodically announcing throughout the year as to when he will be taking group orders. After all this being said, “Happy Trails” to you all!

The day turned out to be better than expected. Started our day off with 36º and ended up with 45º degrees and I beat the rain home. Now, how’s that for good timing? For a gloomy day I wasn't expecting a whole lot of riders to show up, but surprise, surprise, I was told there were over 25 riders and a half dozen bikes out in the parking lot. We packed the house! Once again, I’m reminded, don't ever count our loyal Romeo riders out. Is it because we have so much fun? You will see in the photos we were able to give Sherry (the owner, manager and cook) a Romeo shirt. And then she put it on and modeled it for all of us to see. Now, let’s get right to the photos:
