JANUARY 11TH, 10:00 AM, TAMMY'S BILLARD AIRPORT CAFE, TOPEKA, KS

We were here last year right around this time and had a “whale of a turnout”. This restaurant has offered good American food for over half a century now. They have the best breakfast and lunch with generous portions daily. So, let’s saddle up and try it again.

If there is no rain, ice, or snow, it’s possible for us to draw a good crowd for breakfast or lunch. The weather looks like we may have suitable temperatures to ride (50 for a high). While “Olé Man Winter” is giving us a break from the sub below temperatures let’s not waste a good day to ride. It’s always good to get out, stretch our legs, and enjoy the fresh air.

For those who are interested and all who have recovered or escaped from the nasty flu bug, colds, or even worse, COVID. Tammy’s Cafe it is for some good country cooking. “Happy Trails” everybody and hope to see you all next Wednesday at:

Good turnout for middle of January at Billard today with a dozen or so bikes and maybe twice as many people. Hard to get count since there were Romeos coming & going for breakfast then even more were arriving for lunch when I had to leave. It was pretty decent riding weather by then if you were dressed for it. Wasn't much airplane activity to watch this morning but everybody was having a good time with good eats, good company and a good view of the airport. They still have tasty food and friendly service at a place that our group hasn't been to in awhile. Al picked a good one to go to then wasn't able to make it, so maybe we can get back there in the spring or summer with an even bigger bunch of Romeos!

Thanks to Randy C. for taking a few bike pics (the best ones) early on. Some who came early for breakfast were already starting to leave about the time I got there...
