South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, December 14, 11:00 AM

It looks like next Wednesday will be a bit cooler than last week, but it should be sunny and dry. Time to go south, so let's bundle up and head out for some barbeque at Boss Hog's in Winfield. The food and service are very good, and they appreciate our business. Boss Hog's doesn't open until 11:00, so there's no need to show up early unless you want to kick tires and BS in the parking lot. If the weather is not to your liking, it's OK to arrive by car. (Four wheels is better than going hungry...)

For sure, it's barbeque at Boss Hog's in Winfield. Sandwich, open face sandwich, pork or beef platters, it's all that and more at Boss Hog BBQ. I knocked out a pulled pork sandwich, it was a thick pulled pork sandwich with as much pulled pork on the plate as was in the sandwich! Super food. Everyone enjoyed their meal and conversations. Today was ROMEO comradery at it's finest.

We had a low turnout today with only 8 ROMEO's enjoying the meals. Two brave riders ignored the cold and rolled the bikes, total one was miles was 84 miles. The long distance rider was Gary Winegar with a big 74 miles on his Harley from Wichita. Jr. rolled his bike 10 miles from Oxford. The other six drove it in cars or trucks with the heat on and radio playing 60's music.
