South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, November 9, 11:00 AM

Time to head southwest next week. We'll go to Kristy's, in Anthony, for the pizza and salad buffet. They also have sandwiches and pasta, which are excellent but take a bit longer. (Don't try to eat a “whole” sandwich unless you're a really big boy; the half size is what everyone else calls regular.) It’s a nice trip down to Anthony, and Kristy and her staff enjoy seeing us.

It's about sixty miles to Anthony from Wichita. Right now it looks like Wednesday will be a decent day to ride; time to get out and enjoy some of the good autumn weather while it lasts.

Kristy's Kafe in Anthony was ready for us and opened a tad early. Usual great salad bar and pizza meals for all. One server worked her tail off to keep us happy, and that she did. Good meals and good service. Two thumbs up. We like this kafe even tho they misspell café'

We had 18 ROMEO's today. Two in a cage and 16 rolled various brand of motorcycles and trikes. Bill had a new bike, I can't pronounce the name, that had only 153 total miles! And, DRUM ROLL - this is the absolute first time, the 16 bikes rolled exactly 1000 miles! WOW!! Spot on an even grand in miles. Mac was high rider at 105, most from Wichita was in the 60's range but he logged 105 to be top miles rider. Leon from Viola was low rider at 45 on his BMW. Great day for all.
