South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, September 21, 11:00 AM

Post by roginoz »

We'll be staying west again next week. I had a request to route us back to Carolyn's, so we're heading to Arlington. It's one of our traditional favorites, with excellent service and darned good food, and the weather should be amenable for riding next week.

Wednesday is fried chicken day; pan fried is definitely the best kind. There is also a full menu of sandwiches and other entrees, and a good little salad bar. Usually there are some cinnamon and caramel sticky rolls left over from breakfast, and a good selection of pie.

TIME:

11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 21

PLACE:

Carolyn's Essenhaus
104 E. Main St.
Arlington, KS

Does anyone know if Arlington Rd is open all the way into town? Last time I had to make a big detour. Thanks.

Super thanks to Carolyn's Essenhaus and the server for the wonderful food and top notch service. I enjoyed the Chicken Breast meal, low in calories and tasty. Everyone had a filling and tasty meal.

We had 19 ROMEO show up today. Two in a cage contraption and all others on two or three wheel motorcycle machines. Top mileage was Wayne who rode 85 miles from Sedgwick to meet other riders in Maize, then on the Arlington. Most riders rolled more than 50 miles today, but Kathryn was wimpy rider at 21 miles.

Check today's photos below. Plan to join next week, location will post during weekend.
