Decent temps getting there, but a cooker on the way home. Still--13 of us enjoyed the ride and a great breakfast. As I crossed the bridge and turned the corner, I saw the monument to the veteran of WW2 for whom the bridge was named (see photo). I took the long way back and stopped at "Pastries and Cream" in Caufield and they had just taken out a tray of cinnamon rolls from the oven. Yes I did! . We talked to the guy with the nice boat and were trying to figure out how many motorcycles he could have purchased instead.
