South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, May 18, 11:00 AM

We'll be heading a bit farther out next Wednesday, as the weather looks better for riding. We've been to the 56 Family Restaurant in Galva before, and always had good food and service. They serve all the usual cafe fare, and offer breakfast all day. (I like the homemade sausage and biscuits and gravy. Chuck, our resident expert, gives the cinnamon rolls a thumbs up.)

Galva is east of McPherson on Highway 56, about fifty-five miles from Wichita.

56 Family Restaurant was ready for us with two lady servers and a couple more ladies to prepare our food. Food was served prompt and taste was, as always at this location, fantastic. I enjoyed a breakfast meal, others choose lunch. All around awesome meals, I say.

We had 22 ROMEO Riders today, arriving on 21 bikes. Bike total mileage was 1292 miles one way, many rode more on the return home. Kathryn pulled off 100 miles to be top mileage rider from Hutchinson by meeting a few at the Harley dealer in Park City then on to Galva. Moundridge Ron was low at 15 one way miles. Most riders turned in 50 or more miles.
