Tuesday 4/12/22 Wagon Wheel Cafe ore Waverly Apple BBQ

This week we have a new and an old place to go and a new place. Both do not serve breakfast and open at 11:00 so keep that in mind when you leave home. They are both about 70 miles from Kansas City, MO and the weather forecast is warm (78) with scattered showers. Lets go for a ride.

Option 1 is the new place on the SKC Area list. We have been to La Cygne in the past at other restaurants but the Wagon Wheel Café is a new place. SEK Romeos have been there and the food and service were good. The owner had cooked breakfast and lunch for us many times in Lucille’s, Amsterdam Café and NaNa Jo’s. The wagon Wheel is located in the building that used to be Sid’s Market. They open at 11:00 for lunch. Hope to see you there.

Option B this week will be Waverly Apple BBQ in Waverly, MO. We were last there on July 6, 2021 and they are excited to have us back. They no longer serve breakfast, doors open at 11:00. I know some of you have eaten the BBQ and liked it, but the Tuesday special is the tenderloin sandwich only for 5.99 which is quite the bargain, drinks and sides are extra. Hope to see you there!

Twenty six Romeos on 18 bikes/trikes at the Wagon Wheel today in LaCygne. Good food and good service with a lot of friends. Great time.

We had 11 Romeos at Waverly BBQ, 2 riders Bud and Loud, the fog and mist this morning had the rest on 4 wheels. We had BBQ and catfish sandwiches and of course the giant $5.99 tenderloin sandwich special.
