Here’s an excellent breakfast & lunch place that some of you have suggested. I’ve not been there but it looks like a nice family restaurant located on SW Topeka Blvd in Pauline, a suburb of Topeka. It is close to old Forbes Field. Weather is looking like two-wheel temperatures. Another teaser, 60 degrees!

Here is an update on the Romeo Rendezvous. All the rooms blocked for us at the lodge have been filled. That said, there are still eight “House Keeping Cabins” available, equipped with kitchen, livingroom, fireplace, dining room, & bedrooms. These are priced at ($126 before tax) which were not a part of our block of rooms and are open to the Public on a first come first serve basis.

A CAVEAT: The State Park does not offer a discounted price for any groups. They do reserve blocks of rooms to groups for a given time which ends 30 days prior to the arrival time. Our group received a block of 38 rooms which have now been filled.

“HAPPY TRAILS” and hope to see you there!

Unbelievable weather for MARCH!!! The last reading of the temperature was in the low 80’s. What a teaser! So good to see everyone again. The final tally for bikes was 22 and 28+ riders. The help at Banjo’s did a fabulous job of making us all feel right at home. The food and service were excellent. Thank you, Ladies, you were great!

It was a pleasure to meet Brad from Manhattan who is from our Central KS Romeo group. I extend to you our warmest welcome, Brad. It’s always good to meet fellow riders from our various groups and states. I hope our paths will cross again soon.

So, let’s take a good look at those of us who made it out this fine sunny day. It’s SHOW AND TELL TIME:
