Last week some of us were asking, “where is the next ride?” I asked if there were any suggestions and we threw a few places around but never came to a final decision, so while cruising down 24 Hwy heading back home from Topeka, I decided to stop in Perry and book the Bar & Grill there. We haven’t been there since Dec 2019. I received a warm welcome and they seemed eager to host us.
Looking at the forecast, it should be dry and just a little below freezing for the day. Nothing we Romeo’s can’t handle! There seems to be lots of enthusiasm toward our Spring Rendezvous. It’s filling up fast and I’ve been told there are still some cabins left to fill. If you should find no vacancy on the mountain, you shouldn’t have any troubles in finding a place in the surrounding towns such as Russellville, Morrilton, and Dardanelle.
So, with that note, I wish you all “Happy Trails” and hope to see you there.

Helloooo OLD MAN WINTER!!!! What better way to ignore the frigid temperatures than to gather with a bunch of ROMEOS in some cozy watering hole to break bread together. It was a fun time of catching up on “all the water that has gone over the dam.” It makes me a real believer in the phrase, “We really do need each other.” It’s a social need imbedded in every human soul.
Sorry, here I go pontificating again. Please forgive me, but it just seems to be something in my genetics. Ok, getting down to business here. It was a pleasant surprise to see 19 of you show-up on such a cold day (12 degrees or colder). Do I need to say anything about the fact that not one rider road their 2 wheels? Daaa!
Hey, how about the food? And the 2 gals that waited on us did a fabulous job! I know they were very appreciative of our coming and supporting them. All right, enough of the chatter, it’s time for SHOW & TELL:
