13th Annual Fools in April Camp/Motel event,Pomme de Terre lake

We missed the "12th" campout because it was cancelled, but Bill and Bob have scheduled this years event at the same great location for April 22nd (arrive that Thurs eve), and check out Sunday, 25th. Fee should be the same as last year--$20 for 1-3 nights and covers camp space and firewood.
The best and closest motel is the Clearlight 417-745-2500 and they do offer a veterans discount.
Lucas Oil Speedway has an event on Sat. , but not the cheapo $5 one we are used to.
Bring your beverages and snack foods for around the campfire (and your best B/S stories).

Got there Thursday afternoon, took 5 hours to get there (a mere 4 returning).
Left at 1:30 Friday afternoon, was a good idea at the time.
254 cafe for breakfast
