Farlington Lake Friday June 19th 9:30 A.M.

WE ARE BACK! The plan is to meet at the Lakeview Cafe at Farlington Lake which is about 20 minutes South of Fort Scott on Highway 7. We have options here of eating outside at tables under rooftops and canopies or staying in the cafe whichever feels most comfortable to you. Bring a sack lunch or order from the menu (probably should support the cafe) and either eat outside or stay in the cafe. They serve breakfast all day and open at 7:00 a.m. A suggested arrival time of 9:30 seems to make sense.

Forecast is 50% chance of showers but mostly after 2:00 in the afternoon. REMEMBER TO STAY OFF THE DAM! SOME HAVE TRIED TO CROSS IT IN THE PAST WITH LESS THAN REWARDING RESULTS! CINNAMON ROLLS SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE LOOK GREAT, ALSO!

For those from the North there was rain. For those from the South there was rain. For those from the just right middle there was bike riding weather. The weather apparently dissuaded many we might have normally expected but the 5 of us there had a good breakfast and visits. Randy and Carol, Loyal, Tad, and Lyle were there for the duration. Randy took a few photos but hasn't found time to post yet.
Don't yet know about this Friday the 26th but will post as soon as it is decided.
