Lunch March 4th 11am Scranton,Ks

Post by bucky »

It looks like we will have good riding weather this Wed. Butch and I went looking for a place that would be good for us to have a ROMEO lunch. When we stopped in here the lady who waited on us said she knew a nice man who road with the ROMEO's. He was a school teacher, and his name was Harry. I told her we were sorry. Then while asking if we could have lunch there, I told her we had a ROMEO that was a hamburger connoisseur. She said, in that case, we will have our STUFFED TAVERN BURGER, and FRIES, AS THE SPEC. This one's for you MIKE.

So let's all meet at:

Scranton Tavern
301 Brownie St,
Scranton, KS 66537

The only Bar and Grill in town
See you there
Bucky

What a difference good riding weather makes. Our first Wednesday in March had the biggest turnout yet in 2020 and I guess the largest since last fall. We had 35 bikes and around 40 people in all. Bucky picked a good location for it! Burgers were just as tasty as promised and though we hadn't been to this little bar & grill in quite awhile it will be on our list of places to go back to. We nearly filled the place up but when the food started rolling out I think everybody got served in a reasonable time and it was worth a little waiting! This time there was plenty of ROMEO BS outside after the meal and plenty of nice bikes to gawk at including Bucky's latest, a red '01 Kaw that looks brand new. Great ROMEO day and here's a few pics-- some inside shots didn't come out good since it was kind of dark in the place...
