ROMEO Fall Rendezvous 2019

We'll be returning to the old “Hub” location, which is now the Marble Falls Resort. For the newcomers, it's located south of Harrison on Hwy 7 (there's actually a 7 Spur that leads east from Hwy 7.) The address is #1 Dogpatch Blvd., but I'm not sure that will show up on a GPS or MapQuest.
The “formal” rendezvous (well, as formal as ROMEO stuff gets...) will be on Tuesday, September 10 and Wednesday, September 11. Most of us will arrive on Monday, September 9 and depart on Thursday, September 12. As with all of our events, arrive as early as you want and stay as long as you wish.
Marble Falls Resort will offer a banquet meal on Wednesday evening, as has been our custom. They'll need a week's notice on attendance, so let them know that you're attending the banquet when you reserve your room. Cost of the meal, including tip, is $15. Catfish, pork loin, and appropriate side dishes are on the menu. The restaurant normally doesn't operate Monday through Wednesday, but they might open for Tuesday and Wednesday breakfast and Tuesday dinner if there is enough advance interest. There are plenty of eating establishments in the area, though, so we won't go hungry in any event.

Tell them you're with the ROMEO group, our rate is $65 (plus tax) per night for a single queen bed, $75 for a single king bed, and $85 for a room with two queen beds. Unlike the old Hub, there is a charge of $50 if you bring a pet. They've blocked out twenty rooms at present, and can probably add more if there's enough demand. I'd suggeset calling early, nevertheless.
