Got back on a bike today
Got back on a bike today
It's been three months since my knee replacement, and recovery has been slower than I'd hoped. I got out on the KLR650 today; it's the lightest bike I have (with the exception of the '73 CL350,) with the most relaxed ergonomics. I can get my foot up on the peg of the XR1200, but it's a bit tight. I'll work my way up to it and the somewhat porky ST1300 in the next few weeks. It looks like rain for next week's South Central ride, but I should be able to arrive at future ROMEO rides on two wheels. I'm expecting my mental health and demeanor to improve now... Special thanks to Harley Charlie for handling the South Central scheduling while I've been off the bike; I think he's happy to return to his primary role as our ace photographer.

Re: Got back on a bike today
That's great news Roger, just give it some time, it'll get there.
Once being able to get back on a bike, everything gets better... LOL
