It's back to a ROMEO favorite for our first ride of the year, although several of us have been there a number of times since our last “official” visit. (I'm known to wander over for a clubhouse sandwich every now and then.)

Right now, the long range forecast is calling for a high of twenty-eight, after a low of nineteen the night before. Cold enough to keep the ride in close, so we'll head back to the Clearwater golf course for lunch.

The food is good at Tee Time, and they really appreciate our business. They have a pretty good lunch menu, including some excellent meatloaf on Wednesdays, and great homemade cinnamon rolls. They serve breakfast until 11:00, when lunch starts, if you're one of those who arrives early.

The Tee Time Cafe is located north of town, in the Clearwater Golf Course clubhouse. It's on 95th South, just west of 135th West. There is a sign on 135th, but it's easier to remember to turn west at the day care center, just north of the grain bins that are located on the east side of 135th.

It was still a bit cold for the first ride of the year; twelve of us drove to Clearwater. We had one brave soul (Ron, of course,) who rode sixty-five miles to the Tee Time Cafe.

Charlie will have photos up soon, and I'll post next week's ride in a couple of days. Maybe it'll return to normal seasonal temperatures and we can do some riding.
