South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, September 27, 11:00 AM

Not since last year, August 31 have we been to Pop's Diner in Peabody. I called and confirmed us for lunch on Wednesday. They were so pleased we were returning for a meal, the manager called back to confirm!

Pop's is a large cafe and well staffed, so they will easily handle a large ROMEO group. They offer breakfast all day, a large menu selection, plus they have a daily special.

The (alleged) rain for Monday and Tuesday should be done by Wednesday. So lets light the bikes and ride for a great meal. It's only 45 minutes north of Wichita, a nice ride or drive if we do get hit with rain and need to drive the 4 wheels.

Rain, especially a problem for the riders south, kept the number low this week.
We had 13 attend today. Six bikes rolled 219 miles to Peabody (one way) one bike with a passenger.
Others drove the 4 wheel contraptions.
I'll post a ride for next week soon, likely a ride toward the west.
Photos-with the most interesting being the last photo
