NOTE: We're switching to breakfast meetings until September. If you show up at 11:00 they'll probably feed you, but you'll miss our sterling company... Nine o'clock is the new time!

We've been to the Firehouse Cafe in Hutchinson a couple of times now. The breakfasts are especially good. It's time to head west, so let's try it next week for our first breakfast ride of 2017.

The Firehouse Cafe is housed in an old fire station in Hutchinson. There's no parking lot at the cafe, but plenty of on-street parking and a parking lot just across the street to the east.

TIME:

9:00 AM, Wednesday, June 28

PLACE:

Firehouse Cafe
1824 E. 4th
Hutchinson, KS

The rain moved out just in time for us; Brian and I saw nothing more than a few sprinkles on the ride from Wichita. It was a bit windy for my KLR on the ride home, but still a good day to ride. We pretty well packed the Firehouse Cafe. The sign-in book showed thirty-four people, thirty-two bikes, and a total of 1684 miles ridden one-way to Hutchinson. I think that they put on extra help in anticipation of our visit, as we were all served quickly despite the size of the group. The food was good, and a bit too plentiful. (I left about a third of my potatoes.) Charlie will have photos up soon, and I'll post next week's breakfast ride in two or three days.

Agree Roger, Great food and fast, especially considering how the Romeo's slammed the place. Great turnout.

Roy said this total conversion is less then 10 grand and available for most bikes.
