We haven't been to the Hilltop since fall so time to go back. This is the place that a couple of bikes usually miss if not looking for the sign...but worth turning around for if that happens! Thanks to Gary, at the link below you will find a great map to help pin it down if you haven't been there before.
They do really good breakfast and at 11:00 switch to lunch, then the special will be whatever they decide it's going to be that day. But whatever it is you're probably going to like it, or you can order what you do like from the menu. See ya at:

Another sloppy "RODEO" day which we've been getting our share of lately, but at least we more than doubled the turnout from last week--with a whopping 8 that showed up on 4 wheels and actually were able to fill up an entire table this time!
We did have good food & service as usual at the Hilltop along with good conversation. The BS was even carried on at a lower decibel level than is normally needed for old guys to hear each other with several dozen other old guys talking at the same loudness in the same room. There were comments that it was kind of nice actually but we still want some GOOD weather and lots of ROMEO's to show up on lots of bikes! There's always next week...
Speaking of which Mick, Bucky and yours truly may all be out of pocket next week (in different directions) but a ride will still get posted THANKS to Bill & Linda. Hope it's great weather for the next couple of Wednesdays even though I'll be elsewhere. Right now it's looking good for Friday and the SE group ride so maybe I'll see some of you in La Cygne.
