We haven/t been to Smokey' Bar B Q and Cafe since July of last year and it is time to go back. Breakfast until 10:45 then lunch after that. As Roger says "10:30 is a good time". Randy says "10:00 may be better". Smokey' Bar B Q and Cafe is always good with good food breakfast or lunch and good service. The Romeos have been going to Smokey' Bar B Q and Cafe for several years and have even been featured in the Kansas City Star on one of our visits there.

Wow! What a turnout at Smokey's today. Between 9:00 and 11.30 Smokey's served breakfast or lunch to 90 plus Romeos. We always draw a crowd and the crew at Smokey's does a good job of taking care of us. When we overwhelm a lot of restaurants they really struggle but Smokey's knows how to get things done. Again thank you for being there and sharing the day. The weather was very cooperative today with a light mist in the southern area for the ride in and beautiful mostly sunny skies for the ride home. I got busy taking pictures and counting bikes outside and ran the battery down in my camera. So I got a few pictures outside and Bob K took pictures inside and also some outside that he will also post. Hope you enjoy.

I'll just add a few Randy, it was wonderful to see Connie here today, she rode in with Ruth and Larry (and little Penny). Ron C. came in with a group of eleven bikes, pretty impressive rolling into town! We had a great meal, Ron Y. had the burnt end omelet, looked delicious and I can vouch for the pulled pork southern style with slaw and mustard sauce, yum!
