The Weather Channel is calling for a sixty percent chance of rain next Wednesday, so I thought I'd schedule us somewhere close enough that people might drive. If the rain doesn't materialize, it should be warm enough to ride. Check the sky Wednesday morning and act accordingly.

We were at Boudreux Burger Barn about three and a half months ago, but everyone seems to like the place and it fits our wet day criteria. (Brian says it's his second favorite burger, the first being his hometown carryout-only chili burger in Winfield.)

Boudreux's is about seventeen miles south of Wichita near the Sumner/Sedgwick county line on Meridian. The address is 1499 N. Meridian in Peck, which is actually on the southwest corner of 119th South and Meridian. They don’t open the doors until 11:00 AM, so be prepared to kill some time in the parking lot if you arrive early.

Well, the weatherman got to me again. Expecting rain, I scheduled us for a short ride today. The rain didn't materialize, and we had thirty-five people show up at Boudreux Burgers, on thirty-four motorcycles. The bikes traveled a total of 1055 miles, round trip, to Peck. We pretty well filled up the place. I didn't hear any complaints, though (full mouths and a chance to BS with everyone,) so I'm counting it as a success. Charlie will have photos posted soon, and I'll get next week's ride announcement up sometime this weekend.
