It's been over six months since we visited Douglass, and it's time to head south, so how about the Triangle Restaurant next Wednesday? It's a small place, but they should be able to fit all of our winter group in.

They serve breakfast until 11:00, for those of you who arrive early.

Douglass is about twenty-five miles, or a half hour, from Wichita. Not too far to ride in the cold, or just hop in the car if the weather's too ugly. The restaurant is on Forrest Street, which is the main north/south street through town (west of Highway 77.)

It was a good day to ride, and we had a good turnout in Douglass today. Twenty-four ROMEOs, on twenty-three bikes. The bikes traveled 835 miles, one-way, to the Triangle. The food was good, as was the company. Brian, Chuck, and I took a bit of a detour on the way home, and rode Thunder Road out of Augusta. Charlie will have photos up soon, and I'll post next week's ride in a couple of days. Spring is coming; it'll be nice to ditch the extra layer of clothing and the heated gloves.
