The Farm House Cafe is up and running under new managment. The old owner and cook served several of us cold gravy. He is now in the state big house. I am not sure if it was the cold gravy or him jumping on the girls that worked there, that got him some free room and board.

The cafe will serve breakfast all day and also have lunch specials.

Farm House is in the cafe building in which Becky's was formerly located. The town of Fontenac Ks. is on the north side of Pittsburg Ks. The cafe is on highway 69 on the east side of the highway. It is now painted white with red trim.

Cold and windy with the sun shining was not the idea conditions today. We did have one out of ten ride though. Joe came over from Lamar on his Ultra. The rest of us came in four wheels with a good heater. It was good to see Cliff and Fred back with us today. Had a good breakfast at the Farm House and very good service. Its a keeper to go back to.
