North Central Kansas Weekly Ride 11/30/16

Looking at the weather we're flirting with the magic 50 degree cut off for this week. The forecast is for a high of 51. It's a pretty short ride to Moundridge So a few hardy souls may brave the cold and make the ride. My mapping programs puts it at 43 miles from our usual southbound launch site of the Sleep Inn.

For all those hardy souls willing to brave the cold tomorrow the Salina contingent will be leaving from the Sleep Inn at high noon. I have a lot going on this week, so I can't promise I'll be there.

As expected I was not able to join the ride to Modd's Sweets & Eats in Moundridge. There was just too much to do to prepare for the following day's events, and then set out for Missouri. The ride was stressful enough with 3 adults, 4 kids, and 2 dogs, and the kids arguing over who gets to hold the dogs. I could see the look in the dogs faces saying "Help Me." As it was we didn't get there till almost midnight. I gave the book and camera to Duane Zook and it looks like he handled things pretty well.
