We were told to put up some pics by Harold Jr. since he was unable to make the trip.
Had a great trip down. Fantastic visiting and meeting some Romeos we hadn't before. Fun cookout
So glad we finally made one. Not sure where we are heading tomorrow but will follow our good friend Jim Gore wherever he leads us.
What a great day to be a Romeo.

Day 2. Beautiful day. Sitting here in the shade with Roger and Larry talking about our days. Jim took 3 bikes on a ride to Cotter so I could take some pics of the bridge my grandfather helped build in 1929/30. Then went to Bull Shoals dam. Then a ride back to the Hub where we picked up Marlene and headed to the Cliff House Inn for lunch. After getting back from there Bill and I had to do a beer run. He found his favorite, Mickeys wide mouth malt liquor so he is a happy camper. Will post some pics in a little while.
Great day to be a Romeo.

Started out great on Wednesday. Did some riding on 123 had a switchback (thank you Jim for going up instead of down). Bill said it was FUN. I tried taking some videos and if they turn out let me know if you want to see. Road awhile longer and stopped in Ponca for a break and then headed back to pick up Marlene for lunch. Hit some showers before getting back so guess we'll take the truck to Lowgap for lunch. Has a 5 star chef. Yes, even in the ozarks... will post pics when I can.

I'm practically hugging the door on the deck of the Cliff House cafe as I don't like heights. No amount of coaxing from Marlene or Jim would get me any closer.

Above are a few pics Marlene took and shared with me.
Last night and what a great time. Thanks everyone for making us feel welcomed. Hope to do this again next year.
What a great day to be a Romeo. And what a great group of people.

As you can see there is a lot of STRESS at the HUB. It is very difficult to keep up with the regorous schedule. ;) This was Bonnie's first Rendevzous. Corwin just bought a Harley Trike and Bonnie enjoyed the ride. Marlene and Linda did a good job of making her feel welcome.Oh I wish I hadn't eaten the CHOCOLATE MALT  I am really embarrassed the have to report that what you can't see in this picture is GENERAL BOB pouring fire starter in a plastic water bottle which he proceeded to place into the FIRE :o Some kids never grow up. ;) Thank goodness.Mary Rose said "checkout the LOW GAP Cafe, it has a 4.5 STAR rating." We did, but we couldn't find more than a couple of stars  John and Bill finished a good day of riding and found a nice place to wipe the bugs off. There we many first timers at the Fall Rendezvous this year and everyone I talked to said they had a good time. The HUB is a great place to do what Romeos like to do RIDE, EAT AND VISIT and we did a lot of that ;)
