Ok the place we're going may be in the same general direction as Harveyville a couple of weeks ago, but Eskridge is a great location with "scenic routes" going through it (K4/99) and other great roads not far away.
We haven't been to the Coffee Cup in quite awhile but it's an old favorite. Breakfast served anytime and a lunch menu that is big on burgers and sandwiches. Tiffany (substituting for long-time manager Jessica on vacation) said she'd be glad to have us and will even serve an open-face hot roast beef special for the lunch crowd but it won't be ready until 1100.
Forecast is looking pretty good for Wednesday now (we all know how reliable those are lately ). Since it isn't too far away go ahead and jump in your cage if the bottom falls out again but hopefully they are right and it'll be sunny!

We had a nice turnout in Eskridge given a day that was so muggy the "heat index" was getting close to 100 by our nominal start time of 1100. But at least it was dry Even had Junior Wege show up who did 170 miles getting there--he gets the whizzo button for distance today though that kind of ride is no sweat for him (well, maybe a little bit today).
Quite a few had breakfast which was good because the Coffee Cup is not a big place and that helped keep things moving. I had the hot open face special and agreed with Polish Prince Frank it was worth waiting 'til 1100 for. The staff did a great job and got them out fast once they got rolling. People where heading out well before noon which was probably a good idea given the heat
The official "Hoser count" was 35-40 bikes, not bad. Here are a few pics. That pretty blue & black 3-wheeler (or 2+2 wheeler?) making my Yamaha look like a Tinker toy is Howard's new ride--cool
