We need to thank Gary for putting all the ROMEO events on a map for us. It sure makes it easy to plan a route and know how long it will take. Thanks Gary.

Re: TUES 3/17 COOK'S CORNER DEARBORN, MO
A little cold and a lot windy today. Fun to get out on St Pat's Day, thank you Missy and Roger for the green necklaces, we all looked Irish because of you! I had counted up to 31 bikes, but, never got a good people count. The Ruben was the special and I thought it was very good, stuffed with lean corned beef. The beer battered onion rings came out with their own zip code, what a mound of goodness! Re: TUES 3/17 COOK'S CORNER DEARBORN, MO
Thanks for the pictures Bob, I can't be trusted with a camera yet. If Mike hadn't said something I would have left the shirts and hats today.
Even if the wind made it a little uncomfortable riding, it was good that we could all be together and celebrate St Patrick's Day in our "ROMEO WAY" I had been worrying about Marilyn and George. It had been way too long since I had seen them. Everything is fine. They had just been staying inside during the cold weather. I had a nice visit with Ron C. He is the one that said he didn't get a notification of the ride. One of his first questions, and a hard one to answer, was "What time do you meet and do you come for breakfast or lunch I talked to Roy H. last week and asked him if he had every come to ROMEOs and he said, "Yes once, I came at 11:00 for lunch and everyone was through eating and leaving and I just haven't been back I really hated to hear that and I wonder how many others have had the same experience Our goal is to go to small cafes in small towns whenever possible, but sometimes if all of us decend on the same place at the same time, things can go south real fast. Even though very rarely do I hear this group complain, I don't like to press our luck. When a big day for some of these places might be 20 people and in rides 60 of us that is a receipe for disaster. So I try to schedule places that serve breakfast and lunch and we eat from 9:30 to 11:30. I know you can't please everyone, and you guys are the best. I can't remember the last time someone got upset. Thank you.
It was nice to see Dan and Ellen today. They are planning a ride as close as they can to the borders of Arkansas and are riding around the whole state. It really sounds like a great adventure. Ed J. rode up from Gardner today. Ed, Missy, I and four others rode to Sweetwater, TX for the Rattlesnake Roundup. My new bike is now 8 days old and has 2283 miles on it On our way back we stopped at Bricktown in Oklahoma City. They have built a canal through the old industrial part of town a "river walk". I was very impressed. At one end are 1.5 x life size bronzes dipicting the Oklahoma Land Rush. Very neat.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all.
Ride Safe and I hope to see you next week.
