South Central Breakfast Ride: Wednesday, January 28, 11:00 A

Post by roginoz »

Right now, it looks like sunny with a high of sixty degrees next Wednesday. Not bad for the end of January in Kansas. Clearwater is fairly close in, so it's not too far if the weather takes a turn for the worse between now and then. If the weather holds, there are plenty of roads between here and there. If it doesn't look like riding weather, jump in the car.

The Tee Time Cafe is located north of town, in the Clearwater Golf Course clubhouse. It's on 95th South, just west of 135th West. There is a sign on 135th, but it's easier to remember to turn west at the day care center, just north of the grain bins on the east side of 135th.

Lunch at the Tee Time is really good, but they also serve breakfast until 11:00 for all you early birds. The food's good, and they really appreciate our business. The homemade cinnamon rolls are great, and they usually have a variety of pie for dessert.

I'll still be on South Padre Island, riding the XR1200, so Brian will have the book again. I'll dine with the Texas ROMEOs next week and see everyone back home on February 4.

Whopping big group on this pretty January day. We had 42 ROMEO's and 37 bikes roll to the Tee Time Café today. Overfilled the place! Most arrived early, some very early. Short ride, so the total one way mileage was about 470.
Bad news, I had my camera set to flash photography (but did not use flash), so the photos are few and suffer contrast and detail. Sorry about that blunder. Hey, it happens. Plus, by the time I left most bikes were gone, so no bike photos. I will be carful in the future, don't fire me.
Roger will be back next week. See ya'all then, Charlie

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure.
If you don't take the time to do it right, you'll find the time to do it twice.
