South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, Dec. 3, 11:00 A

It's time to head west, and Harley Charlie is jonesin' for some chicken livers. It looks like a trip to Jeri's Restaurant, in Kingman, is in order. If you're not a fan of chicken livers, Jeri's has just about anything else you'd want for lunch: sandwiches, Mexican food, dinner entrees, and a nice salad bar. Chicken fried steak is the usual Wednesday special. They also serve breakfast until 11:00, for you early birds. We're usually in the back meeting room, so check there when you arrive.

Kingman is about forty miles from Wichita, but you can always take the long way home to get in a few extra miles. Right now, the weather for Wednesday looks pretty good: a high of fifty-two, and only a ten percent chance of rain. We can't ask for much more than that in December.

A lot of the guys like to stop at Bobz Bikes to window shop after we eat at Jeri's. It's down the street and around the corner, on the way home for most of us.

Roger Shores delivered more T-shirts last week, and I sold several. I still have long and short sleeved shirts in all sizes; I'll bring them to the ride in Kingman, so see me if you need one.

It was a bit colder than I'd anticipated (37 for the trip out, 43 on the way home,) but we had a decent sized group in Kingman. Sixteen people, twelve of them arriving via motorcycle; miles ridden to lunch totaled 554. While he wasn't munching on chicken livers, Charlie was wandering about snapping photos. Check back if they're not posted when you read this.

Rogers wrap-up post was 15 minutes ago, we are on the same track today. Jeri's food is great, and our server was on her game today. Happy I rolled the Harley there today.
